Code of Conduct
The J.R. Simplot Company’s legacy of integrity is the foundation of our Code of Conduct, built on J.R. “Jack” Simplot’s vision and steadfast leadership that started more than 90 years ago. The Code serves both as a guide to Company values and a commitment to adhere to these values.
The Code of Conduct applies to all employees, officers and directors of the J.R. Simplot Company and subsidiaries; everyone who conducts business on behalf of our Company, including agents and contractors, must follow the principles of the Code. Each of us has a responsibility to read this Code, understand it, and apply it consistently.
Many things have changed at Simplot over the years, but J.R.’s vision remains: work hard, be good partners, and treat the Earth as a precious resource to be respected and protected every day.
Working with ethics and integrity
Simplot is committed to the highest standards of conduct and ethical behaviour in all its business activities, and promotes and supports a culture of honest and ethical behaviour, corporate compliance and good governance.
We encourage employees, and those who work with us or who are associated with us, to report conduct they reasonably believe may be illegal, unethical or inconsistent with our Code of Conduct and to feel safe to come forward without fear of retaliation.
Simplot Australia’s Whistleblower Policy
In line with our Code of Conduct, the Simplot Australia Whistleblower Policy encourages the confidential reporting of instances of suspected unethical, illegal, fraudulent or undesirable conduct involving Simplot Australia and details the protections that are available to eligible reporters.
