Did you know 3.7 million households in Australia experienced food insecurity in the last 12 months? That’s more than the number of households in Sydney and Melbourne combined. Or 48% of the general population now feels anxious or struggles to consistently access adequate food?
Foodbank sourced enough food for 92 million meals in 2023. The food is distributed to their 2,844 registered charities, 3,379 schools for their school breakfast program and family outreach and 17 Food Hubs and Mobile Pantries.
In 2023, Simplot proudly supported these relief efforts by providing the equivalent of 650,400 meals through donated stock and over 154,000 kilograms of Leggo’s and Chicken Tonight sauces as part of Foodbank’s Collaborative Supply Program. http://bit.ly/3lGrHBF
